We have always shared a passion for creating spaces for community to exist and introducing friends to things in life we consider so special, we can’t help but share them. It started from the very beginning of our journey.  One of our most favorite events in our home of the Carolinas is  the annual late April Queen's Cup Steeplechase Race in Charlotte.  We would annually host friends to our tailgating parties, everybody dressed for the occasion with great food, homemade mint julep sweet tea, and everybody partaking in $2 betting pools amongst our group. Every year we wanted to introduce new friends to the pageantry and the fun that it encapsulated. 

 

Whenever opportunity presents itself to merge our careers with hospitality, we have found great fulfillment. Our favorite opportunity came when hosting a work meeting for our team and their spouses in Sonoma.  We arranged for the group to take in beautiful vineyards, to share the best food family style, to tour the coastline of the 1 Highway on beautiful Indian Motorcycles through redwoods and breathtaking views of the pacific ocean, while fostering fantastic community for all those in attendance. 

 

Over the last 5 years, we have expressed this passion through hosting guests at vacation homes in Carolina coastal and mountain communities that we have loved and wanted to share with others.  It has been such a rewarding experience to share our passion for those communities and the experiences to take in while there, to then hear “It was the best vacation we ever had.”  We are truly in heaven when we can introduce people to places of beauty and create space for community to take place.

 

It is against this background that we launch the next chapter in this story; the thoroughbred, the places associated with its champion’s journeys, and the thrill of racing and winning on national stages. Our experience is set up to provide a taste of the very best in thoroughbred scenery and seasons that horse racing has to offer.
